A Hilo grand jury has indicted a 43-year-old Pahoa man for habitual DUI.

Noland Iopa was arrested following a Sept. 12 traffic stop on Highway 130 in Pahoa, according to police.

Iopa had at least three prior DUI convictions in the decade prior to the current offense, according to the indictment dated Nov. 6.

Habitual DUI is a Class C felony punishable by up to five years imprisonment.
